We meet Charlie Sinclair, a blue-collar factory worker in Boston ( they used to have factories there, believe it to be true or not ) who plays the guitar in a heavy rock and roll band called Pistonhead. A pal who is also in the music business recommended ‘Pistonhead’ to me which was a revelation! I spent a number of years in the ditchs of rock’n'roll and this book hits a bulls-eye.
