We meet Charlie Sinclair, a blue-collar factory worker in Boston ( they used to have factories there, believe it to be true or not ) who plays the guitar in a heavy rock and roll band called Pistonhead. A pal who is also in the music business recommended ‘Pistonhead’ to me which was a revelation! I spent a number of years in the ditchs of rock’n'roll and this book hits a bulls-eye. The band isn’t quite successful–the book opens on a Thursday night at the Massive Ditch Club, where the band has drawn an audience of five hundred folks ( heavy drinkers, and a violent bunch ).
What is not to like? It became instant hit across the U. S. A. Bo Didley and Chuck Berry were the early rock artists. Small Richards and Fats Domino were also popular. Its spread to UK was fast and swift. Cliff Richards and John Lennon were the early artists.
Rock is the modern and advanced type of music that’s relatively quicker and louder than the conventional genres like classic and folks. It gives the artists a freedom to play around with range of styles and express themselves with liberty. The youth is just funny for this kind of music, they’re eager fans of the assorted rock stars. It involves lots of hand-eye coordination to play each song in the correct way. The rock albums take you thru the varied aspects and feelings of life. Since the advent of these games, players have spent thousands of hours making an attempt to perfect the ‘notes’ of each song the games feature. Good players are met up with cheers while the bad ones are booed off their virtual stage. Music has been proved to be an important piece of human development, which is perhaps part of the explanation so many kids love Guitar Hero and rock and roll band.
